Well, we thought through a zillion options for window coverings upstairs, and finally took the plunge on custom blinds to match what we have downstairs. Definitely an investment - isn't that what you call it when something costs a lot? - but we're super-happy with the quality, look, and function.
I don't do much of the manual labor around here, but I decided to tackle the blinds. And I gave up on the impact driver several times and went with a screwdriver. HA!
