Moving In

It's time to actually move into the kitchen!  Awfully fun to put things where we planned for them to go...

And get rid of the old shelves...

And load the beautiful pantry. :-) 

I also got to unpack some things that have been living upstairs for 10 years!

And in the meantime, the door work continues, with a little help. :-)

Doors, Beautiful Doors!

Tom arrived this morning with the beautiful doors and drawer fronts!  YAY!  

After James ran out to Spencer to get a couple of the drawer fronts trimmed down, everything was just perfect! So he got them moved upstairs to his custom rack. :-) 

This proved brilliantly handy for staining and sealing - which is likely to take a few days...

Little Things

Time to seal the drawers - we've sure been grateful for this space upstairs!  Will be fun when it's actually a schoolroom/playroom/hang-out room. :-) 

Everything draped means James is getting ready to sand again... Then seal. Then sand. Repeat.

It's vent hood time!
