MOVING DAY!

Once again, I'm saying I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. It is time for the girls to MOVE UPSTAIRS!

And they wasted no time.  Seriously, we finished the caulking in their rooms - and here they come!  

The new bunk beds won't be here until Monday, but they didn't care.  Mattresses on the floor will work for now. 

 

All About that Base

What a fun day.  Ugh.  Lots of time on the floor for these old parents, taping and caulking baseboards - which went in as soon as the carpet was done! 

And now I'm VACUUMING CARPET UPSTAIRS.  Vacuuming has never been so fun!

Didn't take long for the girls to get the Hot Wheels track up here.  :-) But here was my view late that night, laying on the floor, just taking it all in. 

This is suddenly part of our house. And I couldn't be happier. 

 

CARPET

I cannot believe it's time for carpet upstairs.  Seriously cannot believe it. But it's here!
