Texture!

Adding texture to the sheetrock is one of my favorite steps! It means the patching is done, the taping is done, the bedding is done. And all that's left is paint.  Awesome!

Two trees forward, one door back

The day after we trimmed the cedars, we had a bit of a weed-eating accident. A rock hit - and shattered - the storm door. Great. 

Well, the same kind neighbor found a replacement in his stash, and brought it over. For free. Grateful for the way the Lord provides - even in the little things. 

A rare job outside

Yesterday, our very kind neighbor offered his chainsaw so we could trim our cedars.  HAHA.  Hint taken. So we spent our Sunday afternoon getting it done.

Have I mentioned we're in the midst of the lockdown for COVID-19? What a strange season of our lives. James has been working from home - which has been awfully nice. But it felt good to get out and do something.

More precarious ladder situations...

Now to load it all up to get in on the Browns' big junk pickup.
